AN ENGLISH WALNUT SLAB was bequeathed me when a dear friend died, and I hope to have honored her with this rendition of solid-body electric. It has Black Locust for a fingerboard and headstock, and Kinman pickups with three little toggle switches to control them. The toggles take less depth than a 5-way switch, so the body is only an inch thick, hence light like a more typical Alder body. A joy to play. (sold) |
